On 2/9/2021, the School of Political Sciences and Law held a special discussion with a special guest speaker for our students studying POS-368 and POS-64-444 subject on China’s Foreign Policy as part of active learning activity for students in semester 1/2021. The School of Political Sciences and Law had an honor to welcome our distinguished guest Mr. Kosol Sathitthammachit from the Head of East Asia Affair Division, Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs to join our session and provide an insight presentation on the topic “Bilateral relations between Thailand and the People’s Republic of China”. The event, held online via MS Team platform, gave our students a hands-on opportunity to learn from professional diplomats with decade long experiences working in the field of international relations with China.
Ms. Ploypailin, one of our third-year students in the class, shared her feeling about the activity: “I felt really happy to have a chance to join the discussion today with Mr. Kosol because what we gain from the session are more than theories and lessons from our daily classes. We can also understand more about different perspectives and analytical skills from well-experience diplomats. This really helps me to think differently to explore some of the issues that I am somehow unclear about. I can also learn good way of thinking and great inspirations for my future careers.
